There are several ways to brew this tea. Each style brings out different flavors.
Gongfu brewing directions
5 grams of tea
6 ounces of water at 175 degrees Fahrenheit
Steep for 10 seconds
Resteep several times adding 10 seconds each
Western brewing directions
1 teaspoon of tea
6 to 8 ounces of water at 208 degrees Fahrenheit
3 to 4 minutes steep (longer for a deeper flavor, but no longer than 5 minutes)
Resteep up to 2 to 3 times, adding 10 seconds to each steep
For those who like iced tea
Cold brewing directions
4 grams of tea
12 ounces of water at room temperature
Place in a jar in your fridge for 8 to 12 hours
Add ice and enjoy
